I recently was able to sit down with Chris Martenson over at Peak Prosperity. He mentioned how many of the systems we rely on—financial, legal, technological—are actually faith-based systems. They work because we believe they work. But complex systems can absorb stress only up to a point before they shift suddenly into something new.
That’s why I keep coming back to resilience: building skills, growing food, strengthening community, and understanding what’s actually happening around us. We may not have billion-dollar budgets, but we do have each other—and that matters more than most people realize.
