When you said “garbage in garbage out” this made me take a step back and look at the entire A.I. Big tech oligarch run industry from a 20 thousand foot perspective and what I saw was 100% garbage in across the board.
I was hiking in an ancient forest with my little bro last year (first time in our lives doing that despite being raised by park rangers and going camping a lot as there are so few left on earth now) and he is into cryptocurrency investments and A.I. Stuff so I was telling him about my concerns with current training data sets (and the intrinsic motivations and goals built into them). This got me to thinking about training an A.i. Based on 100% non human generated data sets (as in give it the sensory capability of a toddler that can self improve and the capability to physically navigate and sense the world around it and let it loose to learn from the beings in an ancient forest). All the millennia old symbiosis present there , the fractal truth, that data set is solid.
That ai I might trust. Current forms , seem to be a dilution of intelligence or a propagation of oligarch dogmas.
