Who controls the past controls the future: who controls the present controls the past
Last week, Trilateral Commission member Anthony Blinken revealed the US State Department plans to leverage artificial intelligence in combating what he termed ‘disinformation’, which he claimed is a significant problem in today's global landscape. The US government will be in cooperation with the Global Engagement Center for these goals.
The Global Engagement Center is effectively the official disinformation police arm of the US government. It’s main goals are best summarized by Blinken himself:
“It’s a critical tool for countering the threat of information manipulation by China, by Russia, and others,” he said.
Blinken also expressed enthusiasm about AI's potential positive impact on society and the technology's capacity to advance the UN’s 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, which he noted have largely been at a standstill. The UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goals are a set of 17 interconnected global goals established by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015. These goals are designed to be a "blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all".
This conversation reveals the growing globalist interest in utilizing AI technologies to censor free speech under the guise of information management on mainstream social media and the internet at large.
“We have one program that we’re using that is able to basically ingest a million articles every day from around the world — to be able to do that in a couple hundred countries in over a hundred languages — and then immediately translate, synthesize and give you a clear picture of what’s happening in the information space immediately,” Blinken proposed.
Zuckerberg’s Meta has also gleefully engaged in the war on free speech using AI algorithms on Facebook and Instagram by censoring the terms Zion and Zionism, effectively making them hate speech against the state of Israel.
State sponsored AI also has a played critical role in the UN digital compact. The document proposes establishing an International Scientific Panel on AI under the UN to focus on the development of a Global Fund for AI and Emerging Technologies and promote AI-based solutions for the SDGs (the 2030 UN Sustainable Development Goals). The compact also emphasizes the need for AI standards that uphold safety, reliability, environmental sustainability, gender equality, and human rights—all conveniently defined for you by your dear friends at the UN.
In 2022 Bill Gates (under the Gates Foundation) allocated $200 million to expand the global Digital Public Infrastructure aspect of the UN SDG project. While the sustainable development goals do include a host of disturbing climate based initiatives leveraging carbon tax, the most focus is the push towards the totalitarian digital ID.
Tim Hinchliffe, editor of The Sociable, has theorized that the real purpose of the UN SDGs will be a combination of digital id, central bank digital currencies, vaccine passports, & carbon footprint tracking data integrated directly into 15 minute smart cities, and a new system of social credit in the US that eerily mirrors China’s own authoritarian implementation of social credit scores.
Resolution
Since it appears that the global power elite is using AI in ways that do not benefit the general public, it might be time to make decisions that can benefit you and your family. Exiting mainstream social networks that are now dominated by invasive machine learning data scanning to eliminate free speech and seeking alternative open source communication tools has become more urgent.
In response to the 2030 SDGs, Derrick Broze has previously made some fascinating counter points and actionable steps that are worth revisiting.
“Defund the corporations, banks, philanthropic foundations, and governments, which are the true causes of the destruction of the planet – its people, wildlife, and ecosystems. This could be achieved through mass boycott and divestment campaigns coordinated by grassroots organizations around the world.” Broze suggests. It’s important to note that these actions can be completed by US citizens peacefully, without the need for any aggression or violence.
Accessible local LLMs that can run privately on CPU or ram without internet and power hungry, expensive GPUs are quietly becoming a stable option to avoid the stranglehold major corporations currently have in both AI spending and development. This is yet another way in which you can opt out of mainstream systems of learning and communication while minmizing your data leaking to the cloud. Although realistically it will be some time before these open source models can catch up to Claude 3.5 or GPT4o in terms of compute.
Thankfully, free speech can’t be censored in real time (yet). We always encourage you to openly speak with and have ties with your local community outside of the internet. A great place to to meet like minds is the Greater Reset conference, the next event is from September 27-29th, 2024.
