It’s about AI analyzing your patterns and slotting you into massive data sets to predict how people react. When you see certain news or trends on your phone, it’s not just about monitoring your emotions—it’s also about shaping them. If they know how an area will react to certain things, it leaves us open to being manipulated to react a certain way by what we are seeing on our feed. That’s the bigger danger.
